The answer to this question varies a lot from management to management and what is included on it (for instance if it already has the issue of the initial power of attorney included or not, if it includes already one year of management etc). In the following table we display an average cost of on and offshore companies with the purpose to hold a single property:
| Setup costs | Annual Costs | |
| Malta Company | £2.200 | £1.250 |
| Delaware LLC | £1.150 | £850 |
| UK LTD | £1.000 | £750 |
This annual fees are for the provision of the basic services such as nominee shareholders, corporate directors, company secretary, etc.
Portuguese Companies
The normal structures used are Lda or SA. On the first one you need a minimum share capital of 5.000 euros or the second one 50.000 euros (with a minimum of 5 share holders) Then you have the costs for the incorporation around 1.000 euros. The incorporation costs are various.
Additional Costs
In addition to the fee for management services as stated above, other work (other than the basic compliance duties) is charged on a time-spent basis, e.g. the fee for the preparation of a power of attorney to purchase or represent is £175.00. If the power is required to be prepared urgently, some management companies offer this service for an additional £50.00. Courier charges mostly are £25.00
